The late morning light filtered through the mesh roof of Millie's tent, blanketing the young maiden in warmth. Although it was much later than Millie was used to waking up to, she did not stir. Why would she? Everything was so warm and comfortable, she could probably stay like this forever.
I'm not forgetting anything right?
The sleeping beauty subconsciously hugged Kiko tighter, whose tail stuck out over Millie's shoulder. Millie herself probably didn't realize she was holding him upside down, but she didn't care.

Millie didn't feel like getting up at all. There wasn't anything out there that was important right?

NethaEmerald:
Nyra was up early this morning. The past few days had been rought on her slee-wise. She was just thinking about too much. About what happened with Seed. About how they were going to visit Neraida. About how she had somehow mis-placed her custom staff. There was just a lot going on in her head. To help take a break from it, she went out for a walk to help clear her mind. She was passing by all the tents of others. most of them were empty except for one. She got curious and peeked inside...
And found Millie hugging onto a stuffed animal as she soundly slept. Upon taking the entire scene in, she let out a soft
"Aww... how adorable." that wasn't much louder than a whisper with a smile on her face, head tilted as she did.

! A wild cyber appeared!:
"Guru Guru"
Millie purred and rubbed her face against Kiko's tail, blissfully unaware of her visitor. But the rustling of her tent flap combined with the increased light slowly pulled her from sleep's grasp and back into the deluge of reality.
"Nyeeeh?"
Millie slowly rose into a sitting position, 1 eye rubbing her eye and the other still clutching Kiko. Her eyes registered Nyrandisa lookign through the flap, but her mind decided to take a bit longer.
"Nyra...ndisa?"
She sat there for a moment, trying to understand why Nyarndisa was doing in her tent in the morning.
"Wait...."
Her eyes suddenly shot open and she looked around. Why was she here? What time was it? Did something happen? She was clothed right? RIGHT? She looked down in panic and discovered herself in only her underclothes.
"Ah-wawawawawa-"
She quickly wrapped herself in blankets and blushed. Wait, Nyrandisa had seen her topless at the hotsprings...that didn't make her feel better either!
"What are you doing in my tent!?"
NethaEmerald:
Well, Nyrandisa wasn't fully in the tent: only peeking inside from outside of it. Regardless, when Millie freaked out, Nyra let out some small laughs at the scene.
"Calm down Millie. I was just trying to see if you were going to wake up, and you did. Had to make sure you were fine after the Hot Springs incident."
She responded while backing away from the tent.
"Also, you were a little slow on that uptake." She added on before looking down the stuffed animal. Pointing to it, she then asked
"Is that what you were trying to pet during the hot springs scene?"

After a few seconds of shock Millie returned to her senses, still clutching Kiko and her blankets around her.
"I'm fine... I was just tired."
She exhaled and relaxed, no longer worrying about her lack of clothing, considering that they were both girls. But she still held Kiko in her lap.
"The hot springs just caught me off balance."
She narrowed her eyes and hugged Kiko closer again.
"It didn't help with all that teasing though."
Millie lifted Kiko above her head and rubbed his back.
"His name is Kiko."
NethaEmerald:
When Millie mentioned the teasing, memories of that day came back into mind. It was so easy to fluster Millie, as Nyra had demonstrated.
"Ah. I see. Well, don't let it get you down too hard. We were just being playful. Also think about it like this; my teases weren't just teases. They were compliments about your body."
She explained with a smile. However, upon recieving Kiko's name, she got a small grin to her face.
"Kiko, huh? What an interesting name."

Millie blushed again when Nyarndisa complimented her body but didn't freak out too much.
"Thanks..."
Deciding it was time for her to get up she looked around for her clothing, managing to find an oversized shirt and a medium length skirt. Deciding that she was too lazy to find anything better and slipped them on.
"What time is it?"
Millie stretched her arms, letting one of the sleeves of the oversized shirt slip over her shoulder, which she quickly fixed.
"I wonder what I should do about breakfast."
It appeared that Millie had yet to realize that it was long past breakfast time.
NethaEmerald:
Nyra saw the blush and the grin turned into a warm smile. However, as the sleepyhead asked about breakfast, Nyra just laughed.
"You can do brakfast if you want, but it's a little after lunch time right now, Millie." She informed the sleepy Beorc.
As Millie got dressed, Nyra looked away out of courtesy, though since Millie had underclothing that she had already seen it didn't actually do much.
"Though speaking of lunch, perhaps I should get something to eat with what little there is that suits my own tastes."

"Wha-"
Millie froze when she realized that she had slept till noon. Noon! Her fist instinct was to panic, but as her mind raced through how to get ready as fast as possible she remembered that she was an adult now and she could do whatever she wanted.
"Ok... I guess lunch would be good."
She gently placed Kiko on a pillow and rummaged for a brush and her bow to fix her bedhead. Finding neither she grumpily slipped on her shoes without socks and headed towards the main camp.
"What did you have in mind for lunch? Also do you have a brush I can borrow?"
NethaEmerald:
When Millie freaked out, she giggled a little. She also giggled about the sever case of bedhead. However, when asked if she had a brush on her, she shook her head no.
"I do not have one on me, sorry. I do most of my grooming when I wake up and usually cover my head with the hood of my robes."
However, said hood was not on her head right now, so her light purple hair with light orange streaks running down the entire length was fully visible.
"Though I do have one at my tent, though. That's the best solution I can provide for your case of bedhead. As for lunch? I'l likely just find some sweet fruit."

Millie puffed her cheeks in response to the giggling but smiled when Nyarndisa offered her brush.
“Thanks, that’d be great.”
As she walked towards Nyrandisa’s tent Millie turned her head to ask her a question.
“What kind of fruit do you like?”
NethaEmerald:
It was so easy to fluster Millie. Regardless, she led Millie to her tent. Along the way, she answered Millie's question with
"Sweet fruit. So things like apples, oranges, pineapple, and so on."

Millie nodded and quickly began brushing her hair.
“I didn’t really have that many fruit options back home, just apples and oranges, so that’s a nice part about getting to travel so much. I really like the dragon fruits here, but they’re expensive.”
She stuck her tongue out when she remembered how much one cost at the market.
NethaEmerald:
"My home has a lot of options, though it has been a while since i've been there. Us Jera like sweet things, and it's easy to keepa farm going when we can pollinate the plants and trees ourselves."
Nyrandisa explained as she waited for Millie to be done brushing her hair.
"I'm so going to have to clean that out later..." She thought to herself as she waited.

After a few minutes Millie finished and returned the brush to Nyrandisa and thanked her. She felt a bit better now that she had her hair fixed and headed to the eating area.
“Is it tropical where you live?”
Millie remembered that they were going to Nereida next, so maybe she’d get more fruit there. She sighed, and rummaged around in the food bin to see if there was anything else to eat.
NethaEmerald:
"There's a lot of trees. Very easy to grow fruit like that. Also fertile land." The Jera explains in very light terms.
"And as for a tropical area? I don't think i'd like it too much. Yes, it's fun at times, but the constant wetness of the air would just really irk me."

“I guess your wings would be sensitive to that.”
Millie remembered that Nyarndisa didn’t like swimming with her wings

Nyrandisa nodded.
"They are very sensitive. Excess moisture clogs the wings up and makes them feel slightly heavier. Also stops them from being breathable and allowing pollen and similar materials from collecting on them."
Eventually, she started to lead the way to the food area, hoping there were some sweet fruits still.
"Though if you know what's good for you, don't go and mess with them. Or you'll regret it. I don't want them damaged."

“Of course of course.”
Millie smiled and enjoyed the sun’s warmth against her skin. She wondered what it was like to have a larger part of her body that was that sensitive, or maybe it was weird to Jera that Beorc weren’t as sensitive.
“What about your antennae? Are they like your wings?”
NethaEmerald:
When Millie suggested the antennae, she blushed a little.
"Well, uh..." She started to stammer before finally saying very quietly
"... Yes." Her volume rose as she said "And if you try and mess with them on purpose, you'll suffer more than with the wings!"

When Millie noticed Nyarndisa’s little blush she grinned. Now it was her turn to do the teasing.
“Is it because they feel good?”

"... Maybe." She said defensively as she turned away from Millie.

Millie stifled a giggle and resisted the urge to pat the Jera’s head.
“Alright alright, let’s see if we can find some fruit for you.”
NethaEmerald:
Nyra saw Millie holding something back.
"You let that information go out, and i'll tell The Pack you still sleep with a stuffed animal." She smiled when she was done saying that.

Millie grinned and resisted the urge to pat the little Jera on the head.
"I wasn't going to tell anyone anyways don't you worry!"
Although Millie was smiling on the outside, she secretly hoped Nyarndisa wouldn't tell anyone, because that would be really embarrassing. They'd probably think she was like a child, and probably treat her like one too!
Once they reached the eating area Millie quickly checked to see if she had some bread and meat for herself as well. But as she searched she remembered something.
"Oh, did you know that Zain likes it when you pet his ears?"
NethaEmerald:
When Millie made the remark about Zain's ears, she laughed at that.
"Seriously? I knew he was a Canine Laguz, but he also like being treated like a dog? That's actually pretty funny."
Nyrandisa responded as she went to get some really sweet apples and started to munch down on them. In between some bites, she did ask Millie
"Anyways... how did you find that out?" She asked, tilting her head a little, antennae bobbing a little as she did.

"Ehehe, it's a secret~"
Zain probably wouldn't wan that secret floating around but Millie thought it was too cute not to share.
"Don't tell anyone I told you."
Millie took a bite of the apple slowly at first, but when she realized how good it tasted she began munching it rapidly.
NethaEmerald:
Nyra watched as Millie hungrily ate an apple. Thankfully, the Jera had more fruit... that she was now keeping a secret from Millie. She swears, anytime food is involved with her, her company eats all of her food.
"You totally pet him, didn't you?" She asked as she ate more of her apple, being much slower than Millie so she didn't risk choking on it.
"Though maybe I could try too... but he might bite my hand off..."

“He was too fluffy to resist.”
Millie covered her mouth as she giggle again. Zain would be so grumpy if he found out.
“Maybe he’d let you if you asked nice enough. You never know~”
NethaEmerald:
"The times I met Zain have not been kind. I don't have confidence in doing so in a safe manner." Nyrandisa responded with as she continued to eat.
When the first apple was done, she went to the next apple she brought for herself. There were things she wanted to discuss, but wasn't sure if not was such a good time for them.
"So... has anyone in The Pack caught your eye yet?' She asked to avoid the topics she wanted to discuss.

Millie shrugged when Nyrandisa mentioned her relationship with Zain. Zain probably wouldn’t even let Millie pet her again if she asked.
“Well...”
The question caught her off guard, but she didn’t become flustered like usual.
“Truth be told, I haven’t really considered...”
Millie propped her chin with her hand and stared off into the sky.
“My...past relationships have been... complicated. And I’m not sure I want to start another so soon.”
Complicated was a complete understatement, but she wasn’t really sure she wanted to go into detail.
NethaEmerald:
The Jera nodded.
"I see. I understand." That was all she needed to say on the matter.
Some silence soon followed as she finished off her second apple, unsure if she should eat more or not. To break up the silence, Nyra made a conversation, or tried to, by saying
"Well, mine isn't so pretty pretty either..."

Millie wasn’t sure what to say,m. She knew what Seed’s response was, but Millie felt partially responsible.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have encouraged you so much, I should have thought about Seed’s circumstances as well.”
She hung her head quietly, twiddling the the cracker between her fingers nervously.
“You 2 are... alright right?”
NethaEmerald:
"Hopefully. Things seem fine, though I know we're not at the same time." She responded with, not feeling much for eating right now.
NethaEmerald:
"Though it's difficult. Heart feels broken, but also stitched back together again..."

Millie listened quietly, wondering what to say. She knew it was a hard topic for Nyrandisa, and she didn’t want to seem insensitive.
“I’m... glad that the 2 of you are still on good terms, even if it hurts.”
She put the cracker down and gave her friend a comforting pat on the shoulder.
“And if you ever need to talk, don’t be afraid to come to me. Even if my advice isn’t the greatest.”
NethaEmerald:
Nyra just let the pat happen. She didn't try to stop it.
"Thinking about it always wants to drip tears down my face, but I can't keep wallowing in what isn't right now, and focus on the future."
! A wild cyber appeared!:
Millie nodded. The world would continue to move, regardless if the ones who lived on the surface wanted it too. Might as well move with it.
“I’m glad that you have at least come to terms with it.”
NethaEmerald:
"I've learned that lesson from my own turmoils funnily enough. I've come to accept I might not get the desire resolution there either..." She added on absent mindedly.

Millie noticed Nyrandisa’s wistful mood and guessed that she may need some alone time. She stretched her arms above her head with a Hnnng, and got up.
“Well even if it is past noon I still have to get some exercise. Thanks for the apple!”
And with that, she returned to her tent to prepare for the rest of the day.
