[10:03 PM] EyePierce: The space left open for training was wide open, if sparsely furnished. A few straw dummies stood, their wooden bases securely hammered into the grass. Or what had been grass. Over the past couple days constant use had stripped much of the area of the greenery leaving it more of a brown pasture with the occasional mud pit. Relgia was unconcerned with the state of the ground though, and instead made her way past a poorly constructed fence, listening to the distinct 'krumps' of dull metal beating into straw bodies. She paused as she caught sight of the woman she had been searching for and waited, watching Millie complete her latest flurry of strikes on the dummy. When the woman paused for breath though, she hollered and moved in. "Ahoy there, Millie? I catch ya at th' right time?"
[10:18 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: Millie didn't notice Relgia enter the training area as she continued her regiment. She was training with a sword and a parrying dagger, but without an actual opponent attacking it felt more or less the same as using a one handed sword. "Hiya!" She decapitated one dummy and sent a kick to the one behind her, knocking it over. She then quickly reversed her hold on the blade and impaled another dummy, leaving the last one alive. She decided she'd try that one move on it. [Astra] Millie flipped into the air using the decapitated dummy as a springboard. Her hair whipped past her vision as she twisted mid air to strike the target. 1 hit, 2, 3 4- Millie missed the last hit and almost tripped as she landed back on the ground. It wasn't easy getting all 5 hits at once, since she had to change her grip on the sword mid air. Noticing Relgia had entered the area she blushed and waved shyly. Millie didn't like it when she practiced harder moves in front of other people. "H-Hi..."
[10:30 PM] EyePierce: Waving back at the embarrassed woman, Relgia hefted her three other muscled arms upwards as well, showing off a pair of axes and a bucket of water. Thus demonstrated, she sat the bucket down and sauntered closer to Millie and her decimated opponents. "I was figurin' I see ya here all th' time but we've never really 'ad a proper tussle. Ya mind if I step in an' give th' straw man a chance ta catch 'is breath?"
[10:41 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: "Ah...." Millie exhaled and sat on a nearby bench. She probably still had the stamina, but she hadn't ever fought a Kano before. She lifted her head to fully grasp Relgia and her 4 arms. "I suppose we could." She picked up her wooden longsword and swung it in a figure 8 to test the balance. Against axes she wouldn't be able to parry so she'd have to dodge the attacks. After making sure her weapon was good she stretched her arms, the thin training top revealing her armpits. "What are the buckets for?"
[11:01 PM] EyePierce: Remaining standing as Millie took a seat, Relgia took a deep breath and started letting her heat build, performing soft swings with her pair of axes as her body warmed up in more than a figurative sense. "That's fer coolin' down. 'S comfortable, and if I I accidently start somethin' burnin' I can smother it. Rather not have ta roll around chasin' a brush fire." Again. The Kano was a bit grateful that the training ground had been torn up as much as it had. There was much less of a chance anything would catch and travel this way, though she'd have to try and avoid the straw figures lying on dismembered on the ground.
[11:59 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: "Burning?!" Millie faltered for a second but quickly regained her composure. It didn't matter how many arms her opponent had or if stuff was on fire. She broke into smile and crouched into a guard. "These dummies are going to have a bad day today then."

[12:09 AM] EyePierce: Opponent seemingly ready, Relgia took two steps forward and then lunged her right side forward, performing an underhanded swing with her axe aiming full-on at the sword in front of her. "First yer gonna have ta make me work 'ard 'nough ta forget 'bout 'em!"
[12:20 AM] Cyber | Back to Normal: Millie tilted her blade so that it was parallel to the axe and took a step back, letting the undercut swish past her. As soon as it had passed she ducked down and lunged forward, making sure to keep an eye on the other axe. She aimed for Relgia's right flank. Having an extra arm left Millie uncertain in what it could do, but she pushed forward nonetheless.

[6:30 PM] EyePierce: The momentum of Relgia's failed swing lifted her upper body into the air, disrupting any sort of retaliatory swing the axe-woman could make at her opponent. That wasn't to say the Kano didn't have an answer. As Millie came in close, sword slashing, Relgia flexed and brought her right-back arm down in a shielding motion and then lifted her left leg, twisting on her right foot to kick forcefully out at the swordswoman.
[6:51 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: Millie had committed too much to the attack before she could avoid the kick. It sent her flying right into a pile of straw, and she tumbled for a few seconds before rolling back to her feet. Her hair was a complete mess now. The handkerchief eas gone and she had straw and dirt stuck between her hair everywhere. Millie crouched low again and approached Relgia slowly. Because of the extra arms slashing attacks would be a lot harder to hit compared to piercing ones, so she angled her blade so that the tip eas pointed right at her opponent's chest. Don't expect your opponent to play by the rules Her thoughts flash backed to her last confrontation with Sally. Relgia's kick was unexpected, but it had worked quite well against her attack. She gritted her teeth and held her position, occasionally flicking the tip of her blade at one of the arms. She would have a much higher advantage if she let Relgia attack first.
[7:04 PM] EyePierce: Given a respite, Relgia examined her injured arm, smiling with a grin as she saw the slightly orange tinge to the skin. That'd bruise later. Still, nothing was broken so she re-focused on her sword-wielding friend. She was waiting for an opening, slowly inching closer anticipating movement. "I'm 'appy ta scuttle ya if yer just gonna sit there!" The larger woman shortened her grip on both the axes and began swinging, weaving the two dull blades in and out of each other's way and creating a confounding, almost serpentine, wall of steel before pouncing at her foe.
[7:27 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: Millie weaved between the blades, focusing entirely on not getting hit by the axe. A single swing could probably knock her out of commission. When Relgia pounced she cartwheeled back, before tripping and slamming herself into her weapon rack. "Urgh..." Play by the rules... The Kano sized shadow loomed above her from where she sat. Millie coughed and picked herself up. Don't play by the rules... Millie swung her leg in an arc, kicking up a cloud of dust. Using the distraction she grabbed an identical sword, holding it in a reverse hand grip. 2 axes, 2 swords. Although unlike Relgia, the 2 swords were not equal. She flexed her muscles and blasted magic into the swords, the wooden surface sparkling with thunderous energy. Millie launched herself at Relgia, left blade pointed at the chest, right blade held behind her. Her eyes ignored the Kano arms and aimed right for the target.(edited)
[7:44 PM] EyePierce: Axe-blades stuttering as the cloud of dust sifted past them, Relgia was taken aback as Millie's sword crackled to life with electricity but whatever the smaller woman had been planning this was too direct of an attack, the distraction not enough to slow Relgia's reflexes. The head of one of Relgia's axes hooked the thrusting sword and she twisted her other weapon around to forcefully thrust the sword to the left and far wide, spoiling the thrust and putting the blade hopelessly out of position. Meanwhile, Relgia's bottom hands reached for Millie's collar. With her so out of balance it should be an easy thing to pick the smaller woman up and hurl her to the ground.(edited)
[7:59 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: Millie let go of the first sword, and flicked the other sword to her now empty left hand before it could be whacked out of the way. She then aimed the sword at the axe that held her first sword, knocking her sword back into the air. Ok... She dodged another swing of the axe and twisted to dodge another axe strike, her hair briefly covering her vision. But as soon as it parted she saw the bottom hands reach out for her collar. ! She jumped backwards and parried one of the hands away. By now the second sword had landed behind Relgia. Leaving her back where she started. It had been quite a while since she had faced such a strong opponent...
[8:11 PM] EyePierce: The Kano's blood was up now, the heat of her flame coursing through her veins and rolling off the woman in unseen waves. Millie's second sword slapping her hand away was surprising, but at this moment she had enough momentum that whatever ploy Millie was attempting had obviously fell through. Relgia withdrew her bloody knuckles and advanced forward, axes aggressively smashing downward at the woman to keep the advantage. "Gyaah! Raaryagh!"
[8:24 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: Millie's vision flickered as Relgia continued her assault. It was raining, and instead of dirt she was standing on the rooftop of her high school. No... An unbeatable opponent. Too fast, too strong. She couldn't loose but couldn't remember why. She just knew that if she didn't win things would never be the same. [Astra] Her sword erupted in magical energy and Millie impacted the Kano. 1 hit, 2, 3, 4, 5 all of them striking Relgia within half a second. Millie couldn't recognize reality and memory anymore. She just knew she had to beat Caspin in this duel...
[8:49 PM] EyePierce: The first hit wasn't much. A slam against her ribs, bruising ego but little else. The second cracked against her right arm's elbow, shattering the joint and making Relgia bare her teeth in pain and drop one of her axes. At this point she had reeled back, had let her heat go in an explosive burst of fire, had tried to bring her last axe up into a defensive posture. The third hit swept below her axe and caught her on the chest, a sweeping blow that cut a shallow wound despite the dullness of the blade. The fourth hit slammed into her collarbone, crumpling the Kano to her knees and the fifth slapped across her shoulder blades, slamming the large woman into the dry smoldering dirt. After that last blow, time seemed to resume and Relgia let go of the beaten breath she had been cradling. "Eeeuugh." This eloquent utterance was punctuated by another spontaneous jet of fire that shot out around the Kano, catching a downed dummy ablaze as Relgia rolled very slowly until she lay flat on her back, heat expended.
[9:14 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: Realizing what she had done, the blood drained from Millie's face and she dropped her sword. "Oh no I'm sorry I..." Thinking fast she went to get the water bucket and dumped it on the patches of fire. "I'm sorry I'm sorry..." She had no idea what to do when a Kano was injured. I did it again... Why... She quickly took off thr jacket she had wrapped around her waist and tried to stop the bleeding as best as she could. "I'm so sorry!"
[9:43 PM] EyePierce: Relgia let out a pained smile as Millie fussed over her, briefly trying to sit up before an ache in her stomach convinced her to stop. Maybe that first hit had actually got something. "Ah, don't ya worry 'bout me. Might not be the hardiest corsair out there but I'm pretty fair at bouncin' back after a scap. Hehaha-uuugh." Yeah, something was definitely aching in her stomach. This time, Relgia set a palm onto the ground and rather gracelessly managed to roll enough to get her legs underneath her, pushing herself to her knees to get a better look at her situation. What she saw was impressive. "Aye, ya really did do a number on me." Her chest had a red welt running down the middle, the little blood drawn stopped by Millie's frantic medical care. Her collar had a brightening orange bruise forming on it and she figured something similar lay on her back. Her arm was the worst of it however. That had bent painfully in the opposite direction at a clearly unnatural angle. Briefly, the Kano prodded her elbow before hissing and retracting her hand. Yeah, that one was a doozy. "Oi, could ya hoist th' end of my arm an' 'elp me twist it proper? 'Gonna be a pain if this heals th' wrong way."
[10:36 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: Millie nodded frantically and did her best to help Relgia's twisted arm. "I wish Seed was here, or Suileiman." She gave the arm a quick look over and twisted it in the way Relgia instructed her to do so. Her hands were shaking and although the blood wasn't bad, she still had it all over her hands from when she tried to dress the cut on Relgia's chest. Her breathing grew shallow and her head pounded as she tried to keep her grip on reality. She mumbled a short prayer to Kyria to drown out the sound of rain and fire in her head. "Please don't die again..."

[6:28 PM] EyePierce: Gingerly, Relgia pushed her bicep as the smaller woman held her forearm in place. It was more than a little alarming to see her elbow bent the other way, but Relgia let out a faint curse and another twisting tongue of flame as she folded it back into position. Breathing heavily, she cast a pained smile at Millie. "They were just blunt swords, aye? I asked fer it, an' ya held up yer end of th' bargain. Expected one o' us ta get th' short end of th' paddle." And that should have been the end of it. Relgia curled a hand around her injured arm to hold it in place and made to try and attempt to stand up, then stopped herself as she saw the dark look on the swordswoman's face. Instead, she shifted to face the girl and wrapped her left arms around the woman. One across the shoulders, and one resting on her head, tousling the hair as she drew her closer. "Ey, calm down alright? Honestly, I should be offended right now. Makin' a big deal over nothin' like this. I'm not th' type ta up an' quit it."
[6:39 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: Millie wimpered as she accepted the hug. She had done it again, she had almost killed Relgia like Caspin. She would never be able to to spar with anyone else ever again. "But what if I permanently injured you? What if you can't fight anymore? It would all be my fault, not even an enemy..."
[9:18 PM] EyePierce: "Grit yer teeth." The hand that was gently patting Millie turned into a vice as Relgia reared her horned skull backwards and slammed it into her head. Then, still staggering a bit from the internal injuries and the disorienting head trauma, Relgia stood. "Who are ya ta need ta worry 'bout me, aye? I'm my own woman. I can crush folk's skulls in my hands like th' keel of a boat strayin' too close ta a reef. I don't need ta be coddled an', cryin' ta th' fire, if I'm ever so dull I wreck my body trainin' it it'll be my own blazin' fault! Ya can't take that from me!"
[9:42 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: "Huh-" Millie froze as Relgia admonished her. Millie knew she was right and she was acting childish. But she still felt afraid. Relgia was one of the strongest people she knew, what if this happened with someone else? "I'm s-" Millie stopped herself. If she apologized again Relgia would probably just get mad. "Can you walk?"
[10:00 PM] EyePierce: Relgia vented her frustration as wisps of flame fled from her body and then slowly let herself slump into a more comfortable position given her condition, the cold pain in her stomach lessening to an occasional twinge. "Feels fine until I breath too heavy or twist th' wrong way. Could hobble to my tent now, but I'll hold off for a couple o' minutes, catch my breathe. Either that, or ya could lend me a shoulder an' we can find where our healers 'ave squirreled themselves away."
[10:04 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: "Eep!" Millie when Relgia vented, and tried to douse another fire that had sprung up with a bucket. Realizing it was empty she flipped the bucket over and covered the fire instead. "I-I'll help you." She grunted a bit as she tried to lift Relgia up. She was much heavier than Millie herself, so she had a bit of trouble extending her knees.
[10:18 PM] EyePierce: Happy not to have to support all of her quad-armed musculature on her injured core, Relgia patted Millie on the back. "If yer worried about somebody that's all ya need ta do. Better than just regrettin' th' past, aye?"
[10:23 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: "Yea..." Millie nodded as the 2 of them hobbled back to the camp, the midday sun blazing above their heads.
[10:23 PM] Cyber | Back to Normal: === RP END ===
