[1:26 AM] NethaEmerald: Nyrandisa, upon arriving with the rest of The Pack to Wizard's Point, had decided to actually work on something she hadn't focused on in a while: alchemy and herbalism. It felt like way too long since she took some time to focus on her skills in those areas. As a result, she was seated near where the convoy rested, with a few bags of herbs and plants she had sroted a long time ago. After rummaging through multiple of them, she pulled out a few green plants. The green plants were Sugar Cane, Kale, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, Cacao, and Holy Basil. Her plans were to make a concoction that could supply someone with a lot of energy in a burst in case they felt too exhausted or weak to do anything. She had a few bottles with her, some filled with water, and a flat surface to cut the plants up on. Holding a knife she knew was safe and not cursed, magic, or anything like that, she began to cut up the plants. A mortar and pestle laid nearby to grind them when the time would come.
[6:25 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: Out of the convoy tent came the leader, Zain. After doing some inventory management or something, most likely, for the Pack as a whole, he noticed Nyrandisa sitting on the grass next to the cart. The Wolf stepped down from the back wooden plank of the cart. "Back at the plant medicine stuff again? You're not stealing from the convoy, are you?" he asked, questioning Nyrandisa's decision to concoct things so close to the stuffed convoy, which would surely have some useful stuff for her in it.
[6:30 PM] NethaEmerald: As she was cutting, the sounds of footsteps and decided to stop her work, as to not cut her fingers or cut the plants wrong. Upon Zain asking her a question, she looked up and responded "Not as far as i'm aware. Although I am the one who sorted all the plants into groups of useful for consumption, useful for medical purposes, useful for functional uses like twine and disenfectants, and poisonous." As she points to the bags in order of their contents. "Since a lot of them are my own from various forage quests not too long ago, I figured i'd make something from them."
[6:43 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "So you mixed your personal belongings with the convoy?" Zain shot a strict and inquisitive glance at Nyrandisa, somewhat displeased with what he might have just heard, as he paced over in from of Nyrandisa, looking down at the jars, mortars, and other alchemy instruments.
[6:47 PM] NethaEmerald: "I don't see what's so wrong with that. It opened all my stuff up for public use. I marked the bags stating such. However, if nobody is going to use any of it, I know I will. Perhaps even more prolifically in the future." She explained back, wings twitching in slight irritation of him accusing bad of her.
[7:50 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "Its not a public convoy, Nyrandisa. Everyone has their own private section for this reason," Zain shook his head in disapproval as he continued to look at the various things on the ground before him. "Perhaps if you make some of these... potions available for everyone to use, I could let this item mixing slide," he made an offer, aware of how potent Nyrandisa's creations could be if properly used on the battlefield. She'd be expected to share some anyway, but he didn't exactly like having to tell people they broke the rules.
[7:55 PM] NethaEmerald: "Not a public convoy, huh? Then how come some stuff in it has no owner? That speaks in spades to me that there is some public space within it. But fine; message recieved. I won't share anything else I ever find in the convoy with everyone again like I did here. As for what I was making? That was the intent, but only if it's approved with the convoy to apparently do so." She came back with. She didn't like being told of something she couldn't do that was to the benefit of everyone.
[8:17 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "That's not a tone of voice I'd use to address your leader with. I was going to offer you some of these Ramalian Mint leaves I've been carrying - I've heard they're good for potions - but now I'm not so sure I should," Zain shrugged as he reached into the convoy to grab a jar, one of just a few things in his personal section of the caravan, which happened to be right at the entrance he just came out of.
[8:24 PM] NethaEmerald: She was so tempted to come back with that he shouldn't be talking to his subordinates like that either, but she held her tongue and went back to work on what she was working on. "You're right. I'll follow any rules set forth and... watch my tongue." She responded with as she looked back at what she had out. She almost forgot where she was in her process. "Do whatever you want with them. I can work with or without them, though it would be appreciated to have them." she added as she finishing cutting some stuff down.
[8:50 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "So you want it then, is what you're saying," responded Zain, bluntly. He took the lid off and smelt the herbs inside. They reminded him of home a little; when your sense of smell is so good, you can remember any scent, really.
[9:04 PM] NethaEmerald: "I'm not saying you have to. Nor do I even need all of them. In fact, for the concoction i'm making, i'm not quite sure how mint would interact. I imagine make more flavor, but it might have unintended side effects with what is going in." Nyrandisa explained back without even saying what she was trying to make.
[9:19 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "In Ramalia, we use it for tea. It is our specialty," Zain took one of the leaves out of the jar and chewed on it, then closed it before he could eat more of them. He continued: "Our alchemists, though, use it for weather resistance spells. Its a rarity only found in Ramalia."(edited)
[9:35 PM] NethaEmerald: "Well, i'm not making Tea right now. I'm going for a pick-me-up tonic. Something to give the drinker a lot of energy to perk them up if exhausted or tired, so for now, I think think the Mint for Tea will be neccessary." She explained back, giving context to what she was doing.

[4:23 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: Zain again took the lid off the somewhat large jar, and, instead of reaching into it, placed it in front of Nyrandisa. He held the lid, presumably to close it in case Nyrandisa took too much - he only had so much for the journey. It was only about a quarter of the way full even if it was a large jar.
[4:24 PM] NethaEmerald: All she took was a single leaf. "I suppose I could test it in the tonic. Might help wake the person up more if the mint flavor and scent is strong enough after it's made."
[4:25 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: Zain closed the jar back up and moved it away from Nyrandisa, "Well, go on, make the thing. See how it works." The breeze smelt... minty now.
[4:31 PM] NethaEmerald: Nyra laughed a little at his response. "You know I still have quite a bit of work to do, yes? You kind of distracted me." She responded as she continued her work, finally mixing some things into some bottles. Not everything went into the same one, however. It was all carefully planned. Eventually, she started to stir the bottle that had ground Ginseng and Cacao in it until it dissolved. Once it did, she added some ground sugar cane to it. Then next came some mush from the Kale and Kinkgo Biloba in another bottle that were dissolved by water. Last came the basil, which was still left in whole pieces. Once everything was into the large bottle, she started to stir it all together. The last step was cutting the mint into very small pieces and adding it to the mix. Once all was said and done, the result was a dark brown liquid with small, leafy bits in it.

[3:57 PM] NethaEmerald: It smelled strongly of Mint with a little bit of sweet chocolate
[4:06 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: The breeze picked up the scent of the mixture, carrying the sweet chocolate and mint with it, "Smells good."
[4:22 PM] NethaEmerald: "Hopefully it tastes as good as it smells." The Jera responded back with. She normally would sample her stuff, but she had confidence that this concoction would be fine enough as is. She also wasn't tired and therefore couldn't get a test if it works as intended.
[5:13 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: Good thing Zain is almost always tired. "You're not going to try it? You've never even made it this way before. You can't just assume it'll be fine," he questioned Nyrandisa's decision not to try the concoction first, especially if she was going to make it publicly available in the convoy.
[5:27 PM] NethaEmerald: She came back with "I'm not tired, though. It would lead to no conclusive results. So I'd rather not drink it now, see no benefit, and try again later, thus wasting more of it than necessary."
[5:55 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "If this is going into your public supply, it must be tested first," Zain shook his head. He wiped hair away from his eye after the head shake had caused it to cover them.
[7:00 PM] NethaEmerald: The Jera sighed. "Fine. I'll give it a drink just to demonstrate it is safe." Nyrandisa poured a little bit of what was in the big bottle to a small bottle and drank up. After a few moments, nothing bad was happening. "Tastes really sweet and invigorating." she remarked on it.

[5:24 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "Tastes invigorating? Is that even possible?" Zain questioned, not sure if a taste could exactly be invigorating. Sure, something could invigorate you, but that doesn't mean you taste invigorating as a flavor. This made him a bit more unsure about the potion.
[6:14 PM] NethaEmerald: "It's not actually tasting like that. It was a figure of speech so to say to tell you that it does work at perking someone up." Nyrandisa explained

[6:18 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "Oh," Zain shook his head, annoyed at his ignorance, "Good thing it works, I guess, then." He leaned up against the caravan as Nyrandisa continued organizing the potions.
[6:21 PM] NethaEmerald: When Zain seemed to leave her be, she set the finished product aside and began to sort her own contents from the pouches away from the unclaimed stuff she found, just so she wouldn't have to deal with Zain's annoyance on the topic anymore.
