Cast: Sally (Nerf) & Kiera (TC)
TLDR: Kiera shows up in Nicousa, where she meets a stranger and almost tells them classified info about the investigation. This stranger happened to be Sally, who scolded her and brought her to the hotel to meet Zain.

[8:42 PM] Nerf: Sally wrinkled her nose as she crossed the cape over her shoulders. The old piece of cloth had certainly seen better days: the borders were worn out, and there were several holes decorating it. Even the color seemed to be fading away, and what was once blue now had several tones lf grey mixed in. In a few words, it was the sort of cape she would never be seen wearing.
And yet, that's exactly what she was doing. It was one thing to wear expensive clothes in Naxxos, where she had a reputation and no one would mess with her, but here in Nicousa she was a nobody. And that meant going to the slums wearing what she usually did would have called way more attention than she was willing to. Because of this, is that she had reluctantly changed her clothes into something that would allow her to blend in.
As she crossed the street that lead away from of her hotel, she carefully scanned the surrounding area, trying to make sure no one was watching her. Not only did she want to avoid having to explain where she was going, but more important, it would have been a pity if someone saw her dressed like that. Once it seemed apparent no one had seen her going out, she accelerated her step, quickly distancing herself from the building.
[8:44 PM] TastyChicken12: "Oh, hey, what's up?"
Kiera couldn't help but to notice the caped thief. She simply held her axe and small wooden shield close a while trying to appear friendly.
[8:53 PM] Nerf: Hmm?
Of course, just because she didn't run into one of her comrades didn't mean she couldn't run into someone else. In any case, she could not say she was expecting a stranger to approach her like that.
Is this girl lost or something?
"Ah, hello." she spoke in a polite and friendly tone. "I was on my way to attend to some errands. But, that aside, I don't believe we have formally met. May I have your name?"
A big smile followed her question, as she subtly attempted to drive the conversation away from what the errands she had to attend to were.(edited)
[8:55 PM] TastyChicken12: "I'm Kiera! What's your name?"
Completely oblivious.
[8:57 PM] Nerf: "Sarah Blackburn, at your service."
As the words came out from her mouth, Sally gave Kiera a polite bow. She doubted the woman in front of her cared much about those formalities, but that was no reason to forget about her manners.
"However, you can call me Sally if you so prefer."
[9:01 PM] TastyChicken12: "Sally, a'ight. Works for me. Say, do ya know where the... er..."
Probably shouldn't mention that.
"Never mind. How're ya? Where ya from?"
She's Beorc. Like me. Easy start... I guess?
[9:03 PM] Nerf: "Hmm? I'm fine, and I'm from Naxxos," she tried to appear as friendly as possible. "But I think you wanted to ask me something else, didn't you? Please don't be afraid to do so."
[9:03 PM] TastyChicken12: "... you a soldier by any chance?"
[9:34 PM] Nerf: "A soldier?" she let out a small laugh upon hearing the question. "Do I look like one?"
[9:34 PM] TastyChicken12: "I ain't sure but a lot a people don't walk aroun' with capes."
[9:36 PM] Nerf: Of course she had to notice the stinky cape...
"I don't think I am quite following. What does wearing a cape have to do with being a soldier? It's not an uniform you know."
[9:37 PM] TastyChicken12: "I dunno, I just always remember seein' em soldiers and heroes wear capes in picture books. Ain't nothin' like where I'm from."
[9:40 PM] Nerf: "Well, I'm afraid I'm not a soldier, despite wearing a cape," she spoke in a softer tone, as if she was explaining something to a child. "Why were you looking for one?"
[9:42 PM] TastyChicken12: "Yeh, I'm a part of a new team 'ere. For a... er... investigation?"
[9:45 PM] Nerf: Wait, doesn't she mean?...Nah, there is no way
"An investigation? That is interesting. What are you investigating? I might be able to help you."(edited)
[9:46 PM] TastyChicken12: "I ain't too sure what-about. Somethin' important, surely."
[9:48 PM] Nerf: You don't know what you are investigating? I'm starting to understand why you got lost...
"Hmm. That makes it complicated. Do you have anything that can serve as a clue? Maybe a letter explaining why you are here, or the name of the hotel you are supposed to go to."
[9:51 PM] TastyChicken12: "I got this?"
Kiera takes a letter out of her burlap sack and hands it to Sally, ashamed to admit that she can't read it.(edited)
[9:58 PM] Nerf: Sally opens the letter and reads it, quickly recognizing Saarva's signature. Once she's done, she smacks Kiera on the head with it.
"What exactly do you think you are doing? Don't go handing important letters like this one to strangers. Do you know what would happen if this fell on the wrong hands?"
She then softens her expression a little, as she hands the letter back to Kiera.
"With that said, welcome to the team, Kiera. Should I show you the way to your hotel?"(edited)
[9:59 PM] TastyChicken12: "Ow! That's mean!... rrgh, whatever."
[10:05 PM] Nerf: "Sigh...seems like you still have a lot to learn. Just try to be careful with who you talk to, ok? We can't have you leaking important information. Now, follow me."
Without waiting for Kiera to start moving, the criminal heads back to the hotel, as she gestures the fighter to follow.
Lets hope Saarva knows what he's doing...
[10:07 PM] TastyChicken12: "A'ight, I follow ya!... ya from Naxxos? What's it like there?"
[10:10 PM] Nerf: "Big and noisy. The strong climb to the top, while the weak are trampled over. Drop your guard down and they'll eat you alive. Just my kind of place, you could say."
A cheerful laugh follows her description, making it hard to decipher if she's being serious.
"What about you? You are not from Rettati, I can tell that for sure."
[10:12 PM] TastyChicken12: "Ramalia!"
[10:14 PM] Nerf: "Ramalia, uh? Do you know Zain and Himaya then?"
[10:16 PM] TastyChicken12: "Who're they? All I know is our queen's a wolf Laguz named... uh... Malika."
[10:17 PM] Nerf: "You'll meet them soon enough, don't worry about that. Is this your first time outside the country?"
Has she been living under a rock or what?
[10:18 PM] TastyChicken12: "Yeh, it is. Actually first time very far out of my village."
[10:19 PM] Nerf: "I see. And what brings you so far from home? You said you didn't know what you were investigating, so why did you leave?"
[10:20 PM] TastyChicken12: "Wanted to meet new people'sall. And I need the money for my tribe."
[10:23 PM] Nerf: "Money and people, I see. Well, seems like we've finally arrived."
Once both buildings were in sight, Sally pointed towards one of the hotels as she explained:
"Go inside there and ask for Zain. He's a wolf laguz. Give the letter you have to him, and only to him. He'll tell you what to do from there."
[10:25 PM] TastyChicken12: To... I get to FINALLY meet one of them!
"O-okay! I'm gonna go do that, then. Thanks for this!"
Kiera was jittery with excitement.
[10:29 PM] Nerf: "No problem at all. Go ahead, rookie. They are waiting for you."
She patted Kiera in the back, as if to push her to move.
[10:30 PM] TastyChicken12: "Mm-hmm!"
Kiera walked in like the sheltered, tribal woman she is.
[10:35 PM] Nerf: Heh. At least she's got enthusiasm. Lets just hope her naivety won't be an issue. Now, where was I?
Turning away from the twin hotels, Sally dissapeared into a small alley, leaving the ramalian woman alone.
