[5:04 PM] Best Halloween Eevee | Sky: Interview RP - Nyrandisa @NethaEmerald
It had been a few hours since the last interview for Saarva and while he had a bit of time, he thought he'd go ahead and color organize those candies. They seemed to be individually colored so not even the same colors were the same exact colors. He decided to group them into a spiral rainbow formation, the lightest colors more inward, and darkest colors more outward.
He glanced at his watch.
"I think I still have enough time to sort a bit more..." he had said to himself as he continued
[5:07 PM] NethaEmerald: Nyrandisa did indeed arrive to the interview after having been in the area for a few days, but she was a few minutes late. She had underestimated how long it took to get to the interview place from where she had taken temporary residence up in. After getting to the place, she knocked on the door first, to let them know that she was here.
"I'm here for the interview." She said from her side of the door.
[5:13 PM] Best Halloween Eevee | Sky: "(Dragon dung!)" he muttered to himself as he heard the knock
The many soft clink s of the candy hitting the large bowl could be heard as he used his arm to quickly sweep all the candies into the bowl. Unbeknownst to Saarva, a shiny purple one fell onto the floor, still wrapped in a little wrapper.
He quickly but calmly walked over to the door and set the bowl beside it, where it had been before. He turns the knob to the door and welcomes the person on the other side with a smile.
"Thanks for coming, I take it you're Nyrandisa? Please, please, come right on in! Take a seat and we'll get started shortly..." he said gesturing towards the inside of the room. He shut the down behind them and walked back to his chair behind his desk, getting out his small notebook and dipping his feather pen into the inkwell.
[5:15 PM] NethaEmerald: When more formally introduced to the interview by none other than the man giving it, Nyrandisa put on a small smile and followed him inside with a small nod. Upon entering the room, she noticed the jar of candy, but didn't think much of it right now. After all, she had a small interview to do!
Being careful while taking her seat to avoid any discomfort to her body and wings, she waited patiently as she crossed her legs.
"Ready when you are?" She said.
[5:19 PM] Best Halloween Eevee | Sky: "Right" he said with a short nod.
"Well, I suppose we should start out with a simple question. Why is it that you're here today?"
After realizing this may be too vauge a question, he clarifies: "I've seen that you've turned in an application, which is why we are both here now. But what made you fill out the application and come here in the first place?"
[5:21 PM] NethaEmerald: Her response was quick: "Because I want to help with the investigation around the incident that this involves. As for why i'm here today? Because two loving people decided to bring a kid into the world."
[5:28 PM] Best Halloween Eevee | Sky: "Haha, I see we have a sense of humor." he said with a smile. He soon made a few quick notes.

"Any specific reason? Nationalism perhaps? Justice? Vengeance? ...something else?" Saarva asked seriously. He knew that 'wanting to help' could emcompass quite a bit of things. But for a Jera to leave the Neraidan Forest, he had a hunch there was a greater purpose. He was fairly aquainted with the Jera from some research, as well as personal testimony.(edited)

[5:30 PM] NethaEmerald: "My reason? I'm interested in figuring out what happened and why..." She spoke with some confidence before adding on quietly "... And I have nowhere to go." She had hoped he didn't hear the last part. Regardless, she put a small smile on. "And perhaps my talents will aid in your investigations."
[5:38 PM] Best Halloween Eevee | Sky: He heard the part she had added quitely, but he noted to bring it up at a later point, to make it seem more natural in conversation. He didn't want to make her feel bad immediately pointing it out.

"Ah, you're talents? Haha, do you happen to be a mind reader? Because that's precisely what my next question for you was." Saarva said, laughing a little.

He wasn't sure if that could be misconstrued as offensive in Jera culture, or offensive for those that dabbled in dark magic, so he quickly covered his bases, even marking out his previous note.

[5:40 PM] NethaEmerald: Nyrandisa nodded after watching him scribble notes down into the paper. She could make an assumption as to what he was writing down.
"Well, I have talents to enchant patches of ground, trees. what have you to provide benefits to others and myself, as well as darker magic and curses associated with it." She laughed a little. "And don't worry: I have no intentions to cursing you."
[6:13 PM] Best Halloween Eevee | Sky: "Ha, we'll I'd hope so" Saarva replies simply with a laugh

He tried to refer to his previous note, feeling the time may be more right now.
"Now, would you be able to tell me more about your experiences in Neraida? Life before all this, if you will. I've never been there before. Feel free to be as brief or detailed as you wish."(edited)

[6:16 PM] NethaEmerald: She took in a deep breath. She had a lot to talk about.
"Well, I grew up like any other Jera; protective of Neraida. I learned the art of Dark Magic, but cursed wanderers to save their lives from more malicious intents. Everything was good... for a while." She took another breath. "Eventually, I started to get a little... too happy, with the curses I did, and... found myself banished. I have no home now, and the only way I can go back is if I atone somehow. Sorry I partially lied about my reasons. I'm looking to prove myself back to the Jera of Neraida so I can hopefully goback home."
She looked away a little and uncrossed her legs. "Sorry; didn't mean to be so... dark there."

[6:26 PM] NethaEmerald: She noticed his smile, but she still felt a little bad because of what he said. She didn't smile back. At least not yet. As her eyes wandered in awkward silence, something caught her eye. She looked down to pick something off the floor and held it up a little to look at it. It looked like candy.
[6:33 PM] Best Halloween Eevee | Sky: "My sincerest apologies if I upset you with something said out of line... Oh uh, if it's any consolation, you may keep that piece of candy, even any others by the door if you'd prefer."
He felt a bit awkward, he didn't mean to offend her in any way, but he felt the questions were needed.
"...Well, I won't prod you with any more questions. That should be all I have for you unless you have anything else to say. Should you be accepted, you'll be notified as long as you stick around Pachima for a bit."
[6:36 PM] NethaEmerald: Nyrandisa nodded when it was concluded.
"Well, thank you for your time. I'll be around here for a while. Thanks for the candy." She said as she stood up, took a bow, and made her leave, gently closing the door behind her.
[6:38 PM] Best Halloween Eevee | Sky: "My apologies again," he added as she walked out.
"(Oh dear, I hadn't meant it like that... I hope the candy makes her feel better...)" he said to himself in Pallo, a bit disappointed in himself for not phrasing what he said better, perhaps even omitting it altogether. But what's done is done.
