Interview RP: Miranda, the Laguz Servant

Cast: Saarva (Sky) & Miranda (Ris)

[4:41 PM] Best Birb | Sky: RP Interview: Miranda - @Rislyeu Saarva had found himself playing with his feather pen. He was just kinda twiddling it in between his finger and twirling it out of boredom. "Gah, I've been doing paperwork all day, I can't wait for this interview to make this day a little interesting." the dragon had said, as he also tapped his left foot and alternating watching the door and his watch.

[4:44 PM] Rislyeu: A quiet knock on the door followed by the door slowly opening. A young dog Laguz poked it's head in through the opening. Hmm, I expected it to be bigger on the inside. "Is it my turn?"

[4:46 PM] Best Birb | Sky: "Hmm? Why, if you happen to be Miranda, then I'd say so! Come take a seat, right on the crate here." Saarva explained, motioning to the crate in question. His nervous ticks stopped for now. He was happy to talk. With someone.

[4:49 PM] Rislyeu: Miranda entered quickly and shut the door behind her. She tilted her head slightly at the crate, but eagerly sat down and awaited what kinds of questions the dragon Laguz might ask her. Her tail was wagging excitedly behind her.

[4:51 PM] Best Birb | Sky: Saarva noted the wagging tail. Wagging tail of excitement "Heh, excited for the interview, are we? If I had a tail to wag, I'd likely to the same. It's been quite a boring day up until now." Saarva said, giving the Laguz a smile. "Now, I'm sure you're eager to begin. Would you mind mentioning to me any notable talents and skills you have? Ones that could directly relate to the investigation itself would be of more use, though feel free to list anything you'd like."(edited)

[4:55 PM] Rislyeu: "Well..as a dog Laguz, I have a great sense of smell so that makes finding things easier. I'm also trained to hunt both alone and with a group. Her eyes wandered over the small abode as she was trying to come up with more answers. "Oh, I also learned how to do Beorc things too!" She pulled out her knife that her parents had given her and held it up for Saarva. "I think that makes me...uhh..whats the word...multi-able?" Miranda frowned in thought.

[4:59 PM] Best Birb | Sky: "...multi-useful perhaps? Not quite sure of the word myself" Saarva said, making a slight frown while writing more notes. Superb dog smell Hunting and tracking skills Cooperability Beorc things "Those seem like good enough skills to me at least. Though, would you mind elaborating on those 'beorc things' ?" Saarva inquired.

[5:05 PM] Rislyeu: "Growing up I found that it was more useful to be able to use tools and things like that, rather than rely on just being a big floof ball." She smiled widely. "I really enjoy helping people and I wanted to give myself the best chance to do so. Plus my dad told me to 'be discreet' so I didn't wanna rely on my transformy skills." She used big air quotes when saying 'be discreet'.(edited)

[5:10 PM] Best Birb | Sky: "Hmm, do you say so? Rather interesting..." Resourceful with Beorc tools Likes being helpful "'Discreet' you say? Did you grow up somewhere where your identity should be kept from people?"(edited)

[5:14 PM] Rislyeu: "No, I'm from right here in Niciri, but I've been told other places might not treat me so kindly." Come to think of it, I'm not really sure about anywhere else. "Would people from wherever you come from be scared of my other form? Maybe I'm being overly cautious..." Miranda continues to ramble under her breath.

[5:24 PM] Best Birb | Sky: Saarva continued to write some notes. Cautious "Nah, we dragon Laguz are pretty tolerant of others, I'd say. So we defintely wouldn't be scared of you. That should be the same for most other Laguz barring some exceptions. However, some other Beorc nations have been known to hunt Laguz for sport. Of course, this is illegal and they are punished once we are notified, but it still happens. I suppose your father is smart to instill that into you. It's better safe than sorry." Saarva explained. "Now, to play the devil's advocate... Would you say there are any situations in which you'd have to transform? What kind of situations would those be which you would be willing?"

[5:29 PM] Rislyeu: "Well, the most obvious situation would be retreating or chasing after someone, as running on four legs goes a lot better than running on two." Miranda put her finger on her chin, her ears went down as she thought seriously about the question. "I can honestly say I've gotten more comfortable being in this form so the only other thing I miss is just running for fun so....leisure?"

[5:38 PM] Best Birb | Sky: "Hmm, that's fair enough." Laguz that mostly doesn't transform Comfortable in own skin "One last question: should you be accepted into our investigative team, where do you think you'd enjoy to visit most?"

[5:43 PM] Rislyeu: "Seeing the Money Tree up close could be really neat!" Miranda stood up and began rapidly wagging her tail. "Anywhere else would be fun as I have not spent a lot of time away from my home." She smiled.

[5:45 PM] Best Birb | Sky: Excited to travel "Heh, well bottle up that excitement, then, Miranda. Shall you be accepted, you can let it all lose." Saarva said with a little chuckle. "I hope that this satisfies your interview time, because that's all the time I have for you. It was nice to meet you, and if you'd like, there's a jar of candy on the way out. Help yourself. And should you be accepted, we'll be sure to let you know should you stick around a bit" Saarva said as he now stood up and extended his hand for a handshake(edited)

[5:47 PM] Rislyeu: Miranda shook the hand. "About the candy, can I grab some extra, I met another Laguz and promised some to him." Miranda put on puppy dog eyes.

[5:48 PM] Best Birb | Sky: "S-sure?" Saarva said, a little caught off by surprise. "I don't mind, just don't take too many, I do have to share that with the remaining applicants" the dragon explained, "so please do keep that in mind"(edited)

[5:49 PM] Rislyeu: "Okay!" Miranda delicately took three pieces of candy and waved goodbye as she walked out of the door.

[5:52 PM] Best Birb | Sky: Saarva noted this. Considerate of others Respects orders from authority "She passed my little honesty test at the very least. We'll see how it goes from here..."
