Cast: Saarva (Mappy) & Gracie (AOM)
[6:56 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: Interview RP: Gracie - @AOMLorenzo20
"Oh, an Ayzer - excellent swimmer's indeed. I guess I'll be seeing what this one has to offer when she shows up any minute now..."
Saarva readied himself for another interview, pouring himself another glass of water from the pitcher on a crate to his left.
[6:59 PM] AOMLorenzo20: Gracie enters quickly, giving a nod to Saarva as she enters. She's put on her mother's dress, and fidgets slightly with the rusted band that scrapes her little finger.
"I believe you called for me? I am Gracie."
[7:00 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "Welcome, take a seat on that there wooden crate and we'll start this interview," Saarva invited Gracie to sit down across from him.
[7:01 PM] AOMLorenzo20: "Of course." Grace gives Saarva a small smile and another nod, then promptly takes a seat on a corner of the crate. She crosses one leg over the other, shuffling slightly into place.
[7:03 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "Would you care for a glass of water? I was just pouring myself a cup and I have the pitcher right here," he inquired, still holding onto the pitcher of water that he had used.
[7:04 PM] AOMLorenzo20: She nods once more. "Yes, please. It has been some time since I've had good, clean water."
[7:06 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: He pours the water into a second glass that had been waiting to be filled on the table, and a few ice cubes entered the cup with the beverage. The dragon handed it over to the Ayzer woman, and began: "Well, here's your first question. What are some abilities or talents that you think would help us out here on our little investigation?"
[7:12 PM] AOMLorenzo20: Gracie reaches toward the glass, taking a long sip and pausing before answering. "...I am skilled at wielding a spear. I've some knowledge of the terrain in both Rings, and one of the islands. I have a good amount of experience traversing difficult terrain, especially around Arbor Aurelius itself. I have knowledge of plant life beneath the waves, and some above. I also have a good amount of experience in judging the character of others."
[7:14 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "You have been to the Tree before? Did you enjoy it there?" Saarva asked, trying to confirm what he had just heard - someone who has been to Arbor Aurelius would likely be a pretty strong candidate in his book, though it depends on their overall experience there as well.
[7:16 PM] AOMLorenzo20: "I have," she replies. "My experience... I would say I enjoyed it to an extent, yes, but it was not without its troubles."
[7:17 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "Oh? Could you explain, if you're okay with doing so?" Now he was invested in the story, forgetting to take some notes.
[7:21 PM] AOMLorenzo20: "I was much younger when I went to visit the Tree. I was eager, yet unprepared, and on many occasions without clean water. I thanked the Goddess for surviving my journey on the island, but it was certainly a learning experience for me." She talks deliberately, with furrowed brow, as though her memory of the events are marred.
[7:25 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "Interesting. While it may not have been perfect, learning experiences are one of the best kinds of experiences if you ask me!"
He took the feather out of the jar and wrote down some more points about the applicant.
"Well, one more question for you. If you discovered something very fishy going on amongst your peers, maybe they were sneaking out at night or disobeying common orders, what would you do about it, if anything?"
[7:28 PM] AOMLorenzo20: Gracie purses her lips. Does he mean to jest at me with that language? "I would inform my superiors at a moment's notice."
[7:31 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "More of a passive responder then..."
He continued writing down his notes, taking a sip of his water in between.
"Well, miss Gracie, I think that is all the questions I have for you today," Saarva stood up and put his hand out for a hand shake like he's done many times before.
[7:32 PM] AOMLorenzo20: She offers a hand, shaking it with a smile. "...ah, do you mind if I have one more glass of water for the road?"
[7:35 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: "Ah, of course, help yourself. There's also a jar of candy at the exit, help yourself to that as well," he gently smiled, "Thank you for your time. We'll let you know in a few days if we require your service."
[7:35 PM] AOMLorenzo20: "Thank you." Gracie pours herself another glass, downs it quickly, then exits. She takes one candy with her.
[7:36 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: ...Well, that's not what I was expecting when she said, "for the road."
