[6:08 PM] Best Birb | Sky: RP Interview: Ayer - @Silmashiro
Saarva filed through his record of applications layed out in front of him.
"(Dang nab it, how'd these get all out of order?!)" he cursed to himself in Pallo
He soon found it by chance, on the floor beneath his chair, and felt a bit stupid.
"(Aaah, c'mon, Saarva, let's go, the next one starts soon...)" he whispered to himself as he was hurriedly sorting the papers again, fixing the next applicant's on top of the others.
[6:15 PM] Silmashiro: Heavy steps are heard in the corridor, and a firm knock rings on the door.
"Ayer Graywind. I'm here for the interview."
The door opens, revealing the bulky frame of the Kano. The man takes a step forward, then take it back realizing the bow on his back could not pass the frame. A shift of direction is taken, and Ayer pass the door carefully at a 45° angle. He steps in front of the desk, and nods his head in what seems to be a greeting.(edited)
[6:22 PM] Best Birb | Sky: "(Crap!)" Saarva mutters under his breath as he hears the door.
He quickly make the pile of papers as neat as possible and sets them down. He glances down at the name on the sheet.
"Ah, yes, Ayer, right on time! Please, please, take a seat. Terribly sorry about the doorway, we really should widen it. I can only fit through it in my beorc form, you see..." Saarva explains, trying to help make the man feel better.
"I see you have a...rather large bow there! I assume you're quite strong and skilled to wield it, no doubt. Have you any other talents you'd like to mention?" He made a warm smile in waiting while scribbling down a few notes.

[6:39 PM] Silmashiro: Ayer rapidly gauges the room while the dragon is talking before gazing back at Saarva.
"I will stand. Thank you."
The Kano takes a minute to think about the skills he could offer to the man.
"I have some basics in cooking. I might be small, but I make it up with brawn. I am strong enough to pull wagons, or lift them up."
He points his the numerous spikes on his back and shoulders.
"And normal Kano things. I can make fire, but I would like to avoid it.."
Two of his hands tenderly remove the bow from his back and move it to his front where Saarva could see it better.
"I think myself as a solid blacksmith, I made this bow myself for example. But I think the main reason as to why you would recruit me is my archery skills yes. I can shoot accurately up to 120 meters. If I dont need to be especially precise, or need to destroy a large object, I can probably shoot up to 300 meters."(edited)
[6:46 PM] Best Birb | Sky: "Ah," the Dragon said, sounding quite impressed. "I'm sure those extra arms would help with your aim, I'm sure."

"Cooking, making fire, and blacksmithing are also nice skills to posess. Especially if we've no cooks, matches, or weapons."

"Say, if I had extra arms, I certainly would use them to my advantage with efficiency. Have you ever attempting more than just one weapon at once? I've heard that it's common for Kano to do so, so but it seems the contrary in your case." Saarva inquired.(edited)

[6:56 PM] Silmashiro: An heavy frown appears on Ayer's face. He opens his mouth, closes it without talking and ushers a sigh before going back to a neutral face.
"No. It its not a good idea for me to do so. I had bad experiences trying, and it is one of the main reasons I picked the bow. Believe me when I say this. The furthest I am from the melee, the happier everyone will be."
He sheathes his bow back as he talks, making careful movement as to not kock over anything.
"I .. It is .."
He takes a good dozen of second before actually finding his wording.
"I have a bad tendency of going haywire when I am in melee. I start fighting instinctively, purely for survival. Which is usually at the harm of people standing close to me. Allies included. I should not fight with cold steel."
He sighs again.
"This is not something I usually say to people, but I believe it is an important matter to give away if I have to work together with other people."(edited)

"I believe you're right in the choosing of the bow, then. However, it might be worth looking into if you could use two bows with the extra arms, rather than one. Though I respect your decision, and I apologize if it has stirred up bad memories. If you're accepted, I only wish for you to make good ones with us." he said, in an attempt to cheer him up.
"Now, would you care to elaborate why you've chosen to want to help us with the investigation?" Saarva asked.

[7:13 PM] Silmashiro: A smiles appear on Ayer's face.
"Two pairs of arms, yet a single pair of eyes. Better a perfectly aimed arrow, than two losely released projectiles. Unless you have a full archer platoon made only to do volley fire. But you are not this kind of group."
He crosses his arms on his torso.
"Money, fame, search of martial feats? I have been living in Pachima for the last two monthes, doing nothing. I just needed a goal in my life. And this seemed like a very interesting adventure."(edited)
[7:24 PM] Best Birb | Sky: "Haha, I suppose you've a point, though I suppose in certain situations a volley could help. An ambush that outnumbers us, for example." He said, with a chuckle.
Saarva listened to the Kano and nodded his head.
"Yeah, that's good enough a reason. We've in need for your strength, so any reason is good enough, you see."

"Well, I believe that concludes it. If you stick around for a week or so, you'll surely receive notice if you are chosen for the position. And if you'd like a candy for you trouble, you may get one next to the door on your way out."
Saarva then joins Ayer in standing and extends out his hand for a handshake.

[7:30 PM] Silmashiro: Ayer extends his down-right hand, but swiftly retracts it and extend the upper-right one instead, offering a firm handshake to Saarva, smiling.
"Do I look like the type of person that eat sweets? Thank you for your time."
He nods, a litle lower this time, before walking back toward the door. He passes it at the same angle, swiftly this time, before slowly closing it. An arm can be seen sneakily grabbing a candy from the bowl before the door entirely closes.
